Formula for blessing

Blessing   We often think about being blessed in our limited scope to refer only to an increase in material gain. Whilst this is sometimes a sign that one is indeed blessed, this is only a fragment of what the word means; this word is much bigger than that and carries greater weight. To be blessed is to have God's favour upon your life- which transcends to every aspect of your life and everything that concerns your being. To be blessed simply means submitting your life to God's leading- do what he requires of you, live the way he commands and have genuine love in your heart for others (neighbour).   Types of blessings that we need - Spiritual blessings : We need to ensure that God has indeed selected us and set us apart for his grand plan; access to his grace and mercies for our daily walk with him. You WILL benefit from your suffering Many of us do not want to be associated with suffering of any kind. When we hear the word, we immediately think of undergoing pain and hardship that will potentially destroy us. However, suffering is NOT all bad, and in many cases, God uses suffering to bring us up to his standard. Suffering can be self-induced. There are times we suffer and it is not the fault of others but ours; especially when we disobey God. Additionally, there is externally induced suffering that we may face simply because of things we cannot exactly control. People may hate you so they make your life difficult, by hurling insults and creating situations to bring us harm. FIVE reasons we should be more appreciative of suffering : - Suffering produces perseverance : Suffering in itself is not beneficial. Some who only dwell on their suffering never gain its benefits or achieve a higher perspective. But those who focus on what God can do through suffering
