We live in a time when people are sometimes ridiculed when they seek opportunities to improve themselves. There is nothing wrong with investing in yourself! Seek those opportunities; seize those opportunities and be a better version of yourself. You are not reading this by chance, now is the time to invest in YOU.

What have you done recently? The world has paused for us to assess ourselves. How have you been using the time? It is time for ASSESSMENT. What kind of assessments do we need to be making at this time?




u Spiritual assessment - Am I at the place where God wants? If I should die now,  would I be secure? These are the relevant questions we need to ask ourselves. This is an opportunity to build a more intimate and unwavering relationship with God.

u Psychological assessment- Now is the time to free the mind from stressful habits. Engage in activities that give you peace of mind and regenerate your internal energies.

u Physical assessment- It is time to revise your eating habit, get some exercise done and even an overall medical examination to ensure that all your body systems are functioning efficiently.

u Social assessment- Am I connected to the right people? Now is the time to discern and make the distinction between those who care for you and those that are against you. Are the people in your circle supportive of your achievements? Are they willing to help you to be a better version of you? How do they speak about others in your presence? This is the time to get a clear and healthy social space.

u Cognitive assessment- Am I taking the time to learn something new? What new knowledge have you gained during this period? What new skills have you developed?

Now is the time to perfect that cooking skill; practice your painting techniques; learn to drive that vehicle; take a short course online; practice or learn a foreign language; design that website; start that new business; write that book; engineer that invention you had in your mind for years; tell that person you appreciate them; start a new partnership; recreate your brand and overall image; get that pedicure or manicure; try that new product. The point is this:


INVEST in you. You are IMPORTANT. Use the time to EXPAND.

Blessing   We often think about being blessed in our limited scope to refer only to an increase in material gain. Whilst this is sometimes a sign that one is indeed blessed, this is only a fragment of what the word means; this word is much bigger than that and carries greater weight. To be blessed is to have God's favour upon your life- which transcends to every aspect of your life and everything that concerns your being.
