Life is the Greatest Teacher
The Greatest Faculty is the Faculty of Life
“The greatest faculty is the faculty of life.” This is the audible phrase that I heard while waking up this morning. As I ponder, the following thoughts came to mind. There are some things you cannot learn in school; there are some things you cannot learn from others. There are some things you will have to learn based on your experiences. There are some facets of life that no one will be willing to teach you; you will just have to learn it on your own. It is not that others have not walked the path, it is not that others do not know, it’s simply the fact that they do not know how to help, and it is beyond their scope.
Hold on to
the experiences you have had and the encounters you are having. There is
nothing new under the sun. Others have been where you are and have survived;
you too will survive. Your current place or state is not your final
destination, you will overcome! Some of us will go through different seasons of
our lives, bruised, battered, some unscathed but the reality is, you will learn
for life, you will learn to live; you will learn to ride the tides of life,
surf the wind of struggles and stand on the mountain of triumph.
No formal educational institution can fully prepare you for life. Life itself is our teacher. Learn what you must, document the journey, remember the ‘highs’ and the ‘lows’ and know that this life will not kill you; its preparation for greater.
